The Compliance and Enforcement Register publishes regulatory actions taken against practitioners who fail to meet their legal and professional obligations. It supports transparency, strengthens industry accountability, and helps protect consumers and public safety.
It holds individual building records from April 2019, company building records from July 2018 and plumbing records from June 2019.
The records shown below detail all disciplinary proceedings in which a building industry professional, building company or plumber has been found:
- to have contravened the Building Act, the Building or Plumbing Regulations, and/or the Domestic Building Contracts Act; or
- no longer fit to practise in the industry.
Entries remain on the register for five years after they are imposed or cease to have effect, whichever is the later.
