For properties located in bushfire-prone areas, a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessment is an important step in the building approval process. Use this report to assess the potential bushfire risk to a site in accordance with AS 3959-2018 by documenting property details, surrounding vegetation, slope, and the distance between the proposed building and classified vegetation. The assessment helps determine the site’s BAL rating and ensures that new building work, alterations, or additions are designed and constructed to meet the appropriate bushfire protection requirements.
